What is restorative dentistry and when is it needed?
Restorative dentistry allows us to examine existing dental disease or tooth damage and find the right procedure to restore the form and function of your teeth. Some reasons you may need restorative dentistry include cavities, gum disease and cracked or missing teeth. With each type of restorative procedure we perform, our main goal is to help patients enjoy a comfortable, confident smile and better overall oral health.

Composite Fillings
A composite filling is used when a tooth has been damaged from decay and needs to be filled with a protective material to keep the tooth healthy.
Cracked Tooth Repair
Depending on the severity of the tooth crack, cracked tooth repair may involve root canal therapy to restore the natural tooth or extraction in more severe cases.
Dental Crowns
This tooth-shaped cap is placed over a tooth that is too worn down to repair or has been damaged in some other way. Dental crowns are typically placed over a dental filling if a tooth has been badly destroyed by decay.
Dental Implants
Dental implants are a good permanent solution for missing teeth. They can be used to replace a single tooth or multiple teeth and have the same look and function as natural teeth once implanted.
Fixed bridges
This procedure bridges the gap between missing teeth in a patient’s mouth. Two dental crowns act as anchors for the bridge with fake teeth in between.
Laser Dentistry
This is a modern procedure with a variety of uses, from reshaping gum tissue to tumor removal. Laser dentistry is a popular restorative option due to its precision and lack of pain.
Teeth-In-A-Day
Teeth-in-a-day is a state-of-the-art procedure that allows patients to receive a fully functional set of dental implants in a single visit (12 hours or less), giving them full control over their oral health in both aesthetics and function.
